The platform

One place to investigate the questions that matter.

A service report, survey, inventory export or connected database can each hold a useful answer. Meridian helps you explore the records, identify patterns and produce an analysis you can inspect and share.

01

Ask about your data

Explore trends, compare groups, investigate unusual results and ask follow-up questions. Work across sales, operations, customer service, inventory, research and finance.

02

Files and connected databases

Analyse supported documents and structured exports directly, or query PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server and Snowflake within the permissions your team defines.

03

Evidence and useful reports

Review supporting records, calculations and data-quality notes. Turn an analysis into a report, presentation or export; business accounts also have dedicated performance views.

Business workspaces are available to business accounts.

Individuals can connect data, ask questions and generate reports.

Ask Meridian

A useful answer starts with a better question.

Ask in your own words. Review the calculation, reporting period and supporting records. Continue the conversation when you need a closer look.

Before you get started.

Is Meridian only for businesses?

No. Individuals can use Ask Meridian, connect supported sources and generate reports. Executive, financial and business performance workspaces are for business accounts.

What data can I bring?

Ask supports Excel, CSV, TSV, JSON, PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text and Markdown, plus PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server and Snowflake. Clean flat JSON arrays and TSV files support numerical analysis; nested JSON is read as text. Format and extraction limits are shown in results.

Is this only for financial analysis?

No. Ask about any subject represented in your supported files or authorized database: customer feedback, service queues, stock, sales, surveys, operations or finance. Financial views are an additional business feature.

Can I see where a figure came from?

Business views show mapped calculations and source rows. Database analyses include the generated query and result context. Review scope and data-quality notes before relying on a figure.
